Program Fees, Refund Policies and General Provisions
USA Placement offers the best service for international exchange programs, offering from 4 summer internship to 18 month Management Training positions.

Our minimum stipend required from the host hotels (for 12-18 month J1 Programs) is US $1,750/month, which is higher than most of our competitors. Furthermore, our timeframe to find you an Internship or a Training is the shortest of the industry.

Program Fees:

  • USA Placement only works with the best candidates and therefore negotiates the highest traineeship stipends in the industry with our partner hotels. Our average income for an 18 month traineeship is above $41,000.
  • Our average placement length of 4 weeks is also one of the shortest we believe that our fees can be considered a great investment.

**Health Insurance and visa costs (around $2,000) do not go to USA Placement but are paid to the sponsorship organization once a training position is secured and visa process is started.

Refunds:

  • In no case will a refund be issued to participants who have already entered the United States and who have started their program.
  • If the candidate changes his or her mind during the research process, the registration and research fees (if paid) will not be returned.
  • If the candidate decides not to participate once the program fee, the fee is non-refundable.
  • All fees for Form DS-2019 filing are refundable including medical insurance. An administration fee may apply but will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

General Provisions:

  • USA Placement, Inc., ensures that the host hotel will pay the candidate a minimum of one thousand, seven hundred fifty dollars ($1,750) per month for a training course more than 12 months. (In some cities salaries may be less due to lower costs of living at which time the candidate can decide to accept or not)
  • Once the research process has commenced, no refund will be made if the candidate decides to cancel the program.
  • In the case of a visa denial, the candidate must return the unused DS-2019 form and submit proof of the denial from the U.S. Embassy or Consulate, after which a refund will be issued, less a $500 administrative fee. If the visa has been rejected because of false information provided by the candidate, a refund will not be issued.
  • The length of the traineeship agreed within the host hotel and the candidate is based solely on performance and does not bind the host hotel to the full term if the candidate does not meet the host hotel's requirements. If the host hotel has lay offs or closes for any reason, USA Placement will assist the candidate in finding a new host hotel.
